The Jetters Edge, a leading provider of cutting-edge plumbing and drain cleaning solutions, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and versatile individual to join our team as a Sales and Customer Service Representative. All training will be provided however any previous pressure cleaner or mechanical knowledge will be looked upon favourably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Excellence: Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable plumbing and drain cleaning solutions.
- Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service, both at the front counter and over the phone. Assist customers in selecting the right products, answer inquiries, and ensure their overall satisfaction. Demonstrate awareness of customer needs and actively listen to concerns, ensuring a personalized and positive experience.
- Hands-On Approach: Get your hands dirty! Assist with small repairs, and machine troubleshooting in person and over the phone. A willingness to learn and understand the technical aspects of our products is crucial.
- Trade Background (Preferred): If you have a background in the trades, your practical knowledge will be an asset. However, a willingness to learn and hands-on attitude is equally important.
- Honesty and Integrity: Uphold a high standard of honesty and integrity in all customer interactions and transactions.
- Front Counter Management: Manage front counter operations efficiently, including processing sales transactions, answering emails and online enquiries, Hire and workshop service bookings and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and proactive attitude in all aspects of the role. Approach challenges with a can-do spirit and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Customer service or sales experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Trade background is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift license is required or willing to obtain one through the company.
- Honest and reliable.
Location: The position is based in the picturesque Northern Beaches of Sydney.
